Duane Stone was appointed to be a member of the Board of Directors of The ARC of Pennsylvania by the organizations President on June 29, 2009. The Arc is the largest advocacy organization in the United States for citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families. The Arc of Pennsylvania is the state chapter of The Arc. The Arc’s mission is to work to include all children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in every community. For the Eighth year in a row, Duane Stone has been asked to teach Business Law for Elizabethtown College. He teaches at the Elizabethtown, Harrisburg and York Campuses.

Jason is currently serving on to the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the Federal District Court. This is a three year position to act on behalf of criminal clients that have conflicts with the Federal Public Defender.

2009 is the 200TH Anniversary of our Law Firm's Building in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. The building was constructed of bricks handmade in Dillsburg (the same brick today), horse hair plaster, Hickory log support beams (entire logs with bark still visible in basement) and wood floors throughout (still original-speculated origin is Jack Pine, American Chestnut or Hemlock). The Firm will be celebrating the building's anniversary sometime this summer - more information to follow.

We welcome Neal Abrams, Esq. as the firm's Patent Attorney. Neal has agreed to be Of Counsel to the firm. He has over 35 years of experience including 17 years as Patent Judge with the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. He also was Chief Patent Counsel for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for seven years.
